I take along healthy snacks like fruit and almonds so I don’t get stuck eating fast food. And when I do snack, I make small adjustments to my diet. For example, replacing candy with dried fruit, and swapping pretzels and popcorn for edamame. It has tons of protein!” But it’s not just diet the star depends on. “When my sisters and I are traveling we do what I call ‘hotel-room workouts.’ Just doing that routine of squats, jumping jacks and ab work makes me feel so much better all day.”

Naomi Campbell brought together the fashion elite in Cannes on Monday evening — all for a good cause. The supermodel’s Fashion for Relief charity event raised money for the Japanese Red Cross to aid victims of the recent earthquake and tsunami there.

Naomi, who is celebrating her 41st birthday this week, opened the show in a plunging black YSL number and proved she hasn’t lost her supermodel strut.

She was joined by other celebrities including Jane Fonda and Rosario Dawson on the catwalk. Other stars spotted at the fundraiser included Ivana Trump, Roberto Cavalli, Kenneth Cole and Japan Vogue editor Anna Della Russo.

In an interview with the Associated Press, the supermodel opened up about her charity events.

“The destruction caused by the earthquake is completely heartbreaking, it’s so hard to even begin to comprehend the tragic loss the people of Japan are coping with. I felt very passionate to try and help in whatever way possible, to do our part and to support Japan at this time. I hope that the money raised from Fashion For Relief in Cannes will support those who need it most,” she said.

The 24-year-old British model and actress landed the coveted spot at the top of Maxim’s annual Hot 100 list.

Olivia Munn, Katy Perry, Cameron Diaz, and Mila Kunis rounded out the top five of the list. Rosie called the title a great honour.

“It’s a great title to have for a year and you can have some fun with it,” she said. At the party, Rosie met up with her Transformers director Michael Bay.

“Kate’s makeup was beautiful and elegant with a pop of color,” Lucinda Barreto, makeup artist at Nars, says. “It’s a look that can be worn for everyday or a special occasion.”

To recreate Kate’s wedding makeup look, Barreto recommends the following: for the face, use the brand’s Copacabana Illuminator as a foundation for the skin, Laguna Bronzing Powder for a healthy glow, and Deep Throat Blush on your cheekbones.

Abyssinia Single Eyeshadow, applied all over the entire lid, brightens the eyes, enhanced by Black Moon Eyeliner Pencil, and Kalahari Duo Eyeshadow gives extra contours.

Kate’s hair was styled by James Pryce of the Richard Ward salon. “Catherine’s bridal look is called the ‘demi chignon’ — an updo style which combines a classic bridal look with a regal, couture finish,” it was explained in a statement. “The focus of the style was Catherine’s unique and individual halo style tiara [by Cartier], set just back from the hairline, which determined the finished look.”

For everyone who wants to have a go at their own soft waves, beauty blog Bella Sugar recommends a styling cream such as Aveda’s Smooth Infustion Style-Prep Smoother ($24) before blow-drying with a round brush. Form a side part and curl your hair all around the head, using a wide-barrelled curing iron. Use a smoothing serum to finish off the look, and you’re ready for any occasion.

Aishwarya (Rai Bachchan) and Frieda (Pinto) are going to walk the red carpet too and it’s a great feeling to have been invited along with these two beautiful women. I’m really excited to be going to Cannes, especially when I think of all the beautiful clothes and gorgeous make-up I’ll be wearing. I love dressing up and though I’m going to be in Cannes only for a day, I’m going to make the most of it. Actually, it’s a bit premature to tell you what my look will be, but I’m sure the designers will do their best.

Yes, going to an international film festival is a big deal. But I’m not going to put on a fake face. Rather than prepare myself, I’m going to be just me and have a good time. Endorsing your country is a big responsibility and I want to be casual and have fun. But yes, once the itinerary comes my way, I’ll do a bit of homework as to what I want to do and whom I want to meet there. But my schedule’s so packed, I’m taking only a couple of day’s break from the shooting of Mausam to visit Cannes, that I don’t really know what all I’ll get to do.
