Yash Chopra’s next directorial venture starring Shahrukh Khan and Katrina Kaif in the main leads was set to go on floors later this year, but now we hear SRK’s commitments lie elsewhere.
Shahrukh Khan is currently busy wrapping up for his next home production, Ra.One which is expected to release this October, followed by the release of Farhan Akhtar’s Don 2 in December.
SRK has now expressed to Yash Chopra that he prefers to take a holiday with his family before he starts work on his future projects. It’s believed Yash Chopra could be waiting till next year March before Shahrukh Khan gives him the green signal.
Although Yash Chopra hasn’t passed comment on SRK’s delay, the buzz in B-town is the films leading lady, Katrina Kaif isn’t too happy about being delayed over her dream project. Sources close to Kat say, ‘Katrina has a busy schedule and so adjusting her dates for the same will be a challenge.’
Does SRK deserve a long family get away or should he be more considerate of his peers?
