It’s been close to two years since Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor began dating. Though no chinks have appeared in their relationship – and we don’t wish them to appear – the two have not yet taken their romance to the next level, marriage.
In the past, there have been numerous rumours about Saif and Bebo tying the knot ‘soon’, but that ‘soon’ seems a little too distant. But now, Saif’s mom Sharmila Tagore has confirmed that she would love to see Saif and Bebo wedded soon.
“As parents, we would like Saif and Kareena to settle down as soon as possible,” the veteran actress is quoted to have said.
Mrs. Tagore goes on to add that she and her husband Mansoor Ali Khan approve of the match and have no doubts regarding Saif’s seriousness towards his relationship with Kareena. She’s also convinced that Kareena’s parents too have no problem with the match, but the decision to get married is solely Saif’s and Kareena’s.
Sources close to the couple have often revealed that Saif is ready to marry Bebo, but she wants to focus on her career for a few more years. Kareena herself has expressed her wish to model her career on that of Aishwarya Rai . Which means Bebo will continue to work, but very selectively, after getting married.
But when will that marriage happen? is the million rupee question.
