
If you think Dia Mirza can only carry off roles that require her to look cute and angelic, wait for producer Sanjay Gupta’s Acid Factory in which she gets to kick some butts.
Yes, the actress has done dare-devil stunts in the movie that stars a host of male actors. Dia is the only female star. To do the stunts herself, Dia underwent a special training under action director Tinnu Verma.
“An actor’s body needs agility to carry off the action or stunt sequence convincingly. The body needs to be in optimum form. I trained to develop it before the film went on floors,” Dia said at the unveiling of the film’s ‘First Look’ in Mumbai earlier this week.
The movie has Dia playing a character with negative shades.
“…it’s good to be bad,” she quipped.
Also present at the event were the other stars of the film �” Fardeen Khan, Irrfan Khan, Aftab Shivdasani, Manoj Bajpai and Dino Morea. Danny Denzongpa couldn’t make it to the event.

The film’s director Suparn Verma said shooting the film was “one of the craziest experiences”.
“We have shot on land, at sea and in air. The surprise packet of the film is Dia who has a lot of action in the film unlike her delicate look in her previous films,” Suparn said.
‘Acid Factory’ is set to release on September 3.
